Tom Zwick (My Dad)

This is a picture of my dad filming a parody of "The Office" intro with me, my brother, and one of my cousins as cast members. It was recorded a very long time ago, but somehow I found it on 11/26/2020, but I have no no idea where. This is the only fragment that remains for the time being. Anyways, my dad is an Enterprise Architect at Omron and has also worked at Kraft, Walgreens, and Komatsu. He is a very hard worker, recently he has been on calls non stop until late into the nights. I'm impressed that he doesn't get burnt out, but maybe it's because it's stress he knows that he can handle so it's more of a challenge of his abilities.

His favorite sports team is the Pittsburg Steelers. I don't think there's any reason behind it because he has never lived in Pennsylvania (from my knowledge). I think he just picked a team one day and stuck with them ever since. He also likes meditation and used to go somewhere to learn before Covid-19 happened. I think he doesn't go anymore, but I believe he stills uses what he learned in his everyday life. I'll leave my dad's section at that because he's a more private person.

Vonda Zwick (My Mom)

This is a picture of my mom and I at an SHS football game in my senior year. Thankfully she updates her facebook so I could get this image. My mom got an English degree, but ended up doing computer science stuff where she met my dad. She most recently worked for a company that was working on something to help vision impared people. I think what they were working on was some kind of headset, but I'm not sure (it was a while ago). Now she goes to volunteer at a nature center a couple times per week and also works on the garden in our backyard.

One thing that my mom likes is identifying birds, taking pictures of birds, and anything related to birds. We used to have a big bird cage type thing built into our living room wall that had a couple birds. At one point we also had quails on the floor of that cage too. I was there during the construction of that bird area thing. I remember drinking apple juice while my dad was putting the door on or something. She also takes care of pet rats in our basement (yes they are actually pets, not feral rats). She even made a website that has tutorials on how to make felt hammocks for them. She ended up getting rats in the first place because my brother said he wanted some during a vacation. She was hesistant at first, but she ended up liking them the most and she still takes care of rats today.

I think her next project is going to be making a pool/pond with fish, but that will probably be on hold because winter is coming and our resident construction worker is busy with work. In the mean time she's going to keep taking pictures of coyotes, birds, and other various animals at the nature center. I'll include a seperate page displaying some of her photos here.
